Guitarist's Assistant is a guitar-specific edition of Overdriven Software's other app, Music Theory Assistant. Guitarist's Assistant gives you a quick and simple way to look up which notes, chords, and scales may be played in each key. It will also help you transpose notes, chords, and scales from one key to another. You can transpose single notes, 62 different chords per key, or 15 different scales per key easily, simultaneously, and immediately. If you like to play your guitar with a capo, then you can also use this app's capo chart for further assistance when transposing your songs from one key to another. There is also a list of chord formulas, a list of scale formulas, and a relative major/minor chart so that you can conveniently look up this information when you want to. You can also study the information and memorize it so that you will remember which notes, chords, and scales can be used when you are writing a song in your favorite key.
