Avatar is an easy to use free app that acts on your behalf to simplify your life. It has never been easier to update someone you love with your wherabouts. The App can do this on 2G and 3G provides enhanced functionality. It automates mundane tasks such as switching on & off gadgets at your home remotely (requires IoTAvatar remote switches to be installed) using SMS messaging, remembers where you parked your car, gives GPS co-ordinates or nearby address of your current location, helps you to send SOS message to your emergency contact about where you parked or where you are. The app also helps you to store any info as Key / Value pairs. Avatar app helps you to remember which level you parked your car in a multi-level car parking, giving you the option to inform a pre-set SMS contact about where you parked along with the time stamp. In case you have visited the Map tab and tapped either Locate or Refresh button, then the SMS message about the parking level will automatically include the GPS coordinates of the location also. The SMS contact used for this purpose can be pre-set in the app through Settings so that you do not have to type or select the contact every time you inform the location. The simplicity of Avatar app is that all of these tasks are done automatically in a single tap. Avatar app provides you an SOS button to inform a pre-set contact about your present location or GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude). Avatar Map can also give you the nearest address of the location where you are including the Street name. Avatar app helps you to remember any info in the form of Key-Value pairs. This becomes handy for e.g., when you have to associate different e-mail ids for different purposes or different user names for different portals. Get started in 3 easy steps: (1) Go to Settings, enter a mobile no. for the second setting i.e., parkingUpdateNo, tap enter/Done to Save (2) Go to next line, simply tap Enter/Done to Save the same no. as locationSoSNo (3) Go to Control tab, Select a Parking level from Lvl-2 to Lvl6 and you should see a SMS dialogue pop up with the parking level & the mobile no. you have set. In case you have visited the Map tab, (assuming Location is On), the SMS message would include the GPS coordinates automatically. Similarly tapping the SoS button on Map tab should pop up an SMS dialogue box with the GPS coordinates and with the mobile no. you have saved for locationSoSNo.
